BSAT QUALIFICATION & CERTIFICATION
BASE PROFICIENCY STANDARDS (BPS)
BSAT Qualification is the process by which Instructors test, measure and evaluate a Student’s live-fire proficiency for Block I & II learned shooting skills. BSAT Certification is obtained when a Student safely and procedurally executes the Block I & II Base Proficiency Standards (BPS). BSAT Qualification ensures Unit Commanders that their Special Warfare Airmen are proficient and highly-trained shooters, capable gunfighters and weapon-safety professionals.
OneZulu’s Base Proficiency Standards (BPS) are testable and measurable shooting standards that evaluate a Student’s demonstration of safe weapons handling knowledge, learned skills and shooting proficiency of the M18 and M4 weapon. The Base Proficiency Standards are timed shooting drills which include the proper and safe execution of the BSAT course’s SOPs, TTPs and Methods.
